Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC)
When a child has experienced abuse, neglect, or has witnessed a violent crime, they need more than just care — they need a safe place where every step of the process is handled with compassion and expertise.
Unica’s Children’s Advocacy Center, known as the Children’s Safehouse, provides exactly that. In a welcoming, child-friendly environment, we bring together forensic specialists, law enforcement, legal partners, and mental health professionals to support children and their families through what can be one of the most difficult experiences of their lives.
Our CAC team conducts forensic interviews, coordinates with partner agencies, and connects children and caregivers to advocacy services and therapy — including Treat First Therapy for families with immediate needs.
